Eastern Pacific Giant Conchs, Strombus galeatus, measuring between 7 and 8-1/2 inches in size.  Eastern Pacific Giant Conch are large, very thick and heavy.  They have a oblong outline, with a short pointed spire that lacks spines and nodules and is often eroded.
