King Helmet Shells

King Helmet Shells

Wholesale king helmet shells measuring between 5 inches and 8 inches are sold wholesale on this website. The king helmet is a deep brown colored shell with a triangle shaped face.  This shell is used in seashell décor and in coastal home decorating as an accent piece.   The king helmet, Cassis tuberosa, is a species of very large sea snail with a solid, heavy shell, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cassidae, the helmet shells and their allies.   The shell of this species has been used for creating cameos.  This species occurs in the Western Atlantic Ocean in: North Carolina, Florida, Mexico, Honduras, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Bermuda, Bahamas, Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, Brazil, and in the eastern Atlantic Ocean at the Cape Verde Islands.

You will receive king helmet shells that look similar to those pictured.  These are real shells - NOT replicas, and will have natural imperfection from living in the ocean and aging:  chips on edges, scars, tiny holes, cuts, scratches, blemishes
