, (family Harpidae), measuring between approximately 2-1/2 inches and 2-7/8 inches. The articulate harp shell grows up to 8-11 cm. These harp shells feeds on echinoderms - sea cucumbers, sea urchins and are active at night, and during the day they are buried in the sand. The articulate harp shell, harpa articularis, is recognizable by the longitudinal ribs on round sink and golden spots on the mantle and the siphon. Lives at depths 3-45 meters Habitat: Indo-Pacific from Thailand and Malaysia to Indonesia, Philippines, Australia.
