Knife handle material, one pair of smooth rounded buffalo bone scales dyed brown in color. This knife handle material is made from real Indian water buffalo bone, Bubalus, bubalis. Each rounded buffalo bone scale measures approximately 5 inches long by 1-1/4 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick in the center (these are rounded and the thickness decreases).  Our supplier has used some filler on some of these to make a smoother surface. Rounded buffalo bone slabs and rounded buffalo bone scales are used for making optical frames, tiles for inlaid furniture, for hidden tang knives, gun grips, knife handle material and for inlaid art.
