Wholesale horse conch shells for sale, commercial grade, with natural imperfections measuring approximately 11 inches in size. Horse conch shells have a large mouth opening, and are used for making beach wedding centerpieces.  The Horse Conch Shells have a pale peach exterior that blends nicely with any wedding decor and the large shell size makes horse conchs the perfect shell to use in making shell centerpieces for beach weddings. Triplofusus giganteus, previously known as Pleuroploca gigantea, common name the Florida horse conch, is a species of extremely large predatory subtropical and tropical sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Fasciolariidae, the spindle snails, tulip snails and their allies.  Although known as a horse conch, this is not a true conch, as it is not in the family Strombidae.  This species is the largest gastropod in the American waters, and one of the largest univalves in the world.

These are real horse conch shells and will have imperfections from aging and living in the oceans:  chips on edges, tiny holes, scrapes, blemishes and scars.
