Product Details

Wholesale Rock Scallops half (Spondylus Calcifer) measure approximately 6 inches to 7 inches in size.  Spondylus Calcifer was used principally for beads and other artifacts.  Under normal conditions, the bivalve is not found in the colder waters off the coast of Peru.  Spondylus calcifer is found from the Gulf of California to Ecuador.

 These shells are commercial grade and are being sold in a wholesale bulk lot.  There will be some shells with chipped edges, and  natural blemishes..  We do not sell museum quality shells.
