14-inch long (measured around the curve) Semi-Curved Hippo Tusk (Hippopotamus amphibious), used in carving ivory weighing 1.40 pound and 40% solid. This tusk some outer layer worn off and red marks - Review all photos.  Hippo tusks are available in curved hippo tusks, long straight hippo tusks, long curved hippo ivory, semi curved hippo ivory, short straight hippo ivory and toe nails. Hippo tusks and hippo ivory are used in carving ivory, making jewelry and in making inlaid ivory knife handles. 
 
 
Our hippo ivory is obtained from the African Government's Culling Program and is imported under Cites Permit number 300162.
