Wholesale Pacific Crown Conch shells, Melongena patula measures approximately 3 inches up to 4 inches.  Melongena snails are carnivorous, primarily preying on small bivalves (clams, mussels and oysters).  They will also feed on other species of snails and have been know to be cannibalistic.  Melongena is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Melongenidae, the crown conches and their allies.  This group is usually found in muddy or brackish waters near mangroves in tropical regions.
