"Africana" case of wholesale common spider conch shells, lambis lambis, seashells measuring between approximately 4-1/2 inches and 6 inches.  Spider conchs are used in shellcraft projects. Lambis lambis spider conch is known to be an herbivore, feeding on fine red algae. They are a very large, robust and heavy shell. One of its most striking characteristics is its flared outer lip, ornamented by six hollow marginal digitations.  These are commercial grade shells and will have natural imperfections due to aging and living in the ocean.
