Wholesale Pecten purpuratus, commonly known as the Peruvian or Chilean scallop) is a marine bivalve celebrated for its vibrant, fan-shaped shell.  These shells are highly sought for coastal decor, jewelry making, and traditional crafts due to their naturally intense colors and well-defined radial ribs.  These Pecten shells measure approximately 2.5 to 3 inches and come in deep shades of purple and pink, though variations include white, earthy reds, and rare bright orange specimens.  

Our shells are commercial grade. All seashells sold in bulk, by the gallon and by the kilo will contain some unusable shells and there will be a little gravel in the bags!
