Wholesale Pecten Pyxidata shells, commonly known as the box scallop or cup shell. Pecten is a genus of large scallops or saltwater clams, marine bivalve mollusks in the family Pectinidae, the scallop. They measure approximately 1 to 2 inches in size.  These shells are used in seashell crafting, jewelry making, shell collecting, as a base in mirrors and as filler in making shell filled lamps.


All our seashells are commercial grade and will have natural imperfections from living in the oceans.  The bags will contain some sand and gravel on the bottoms and you will receive some shells with chipped edges and holes.  These are real shells.
