Imported directly from the lush regions of Indonesia, each real bat specimen measures approximately 5-1/2 to 6-1/2 inches long and comes equipped with a pre-attached thread for effortless hanging and display. These captivating specimens showcase the intricate, natural beauty of the species, making them a highly sought-after item for collectors of real animal taxidermy and oddities
Authentic Physical Characteristics & Features
  • Distinct Facial Features: Features a unique, dog-like face highlighted by large, prominent eyes, a long snout, and a striking yellowish-brown iris. 
  • Silky Fur & Coloration: The incredibly fine, silky dorsal fur ranges from deep gray-brown to dark brown, contrasting beautifully with a much paler underside.
  • Striking Wing Details: The oval-shaped ears and delicate wing bones are dark brown, outlined by highly distinct, smooth white margins.
  • True-to-Life Dimensions: These adult specimens represent their natural size with an expansive wingspan of roughly 48 cm (forearm length averaging 70.2 mm) and an average living weight of 38 to 75 grams.


               Please note that with all  dried specimens, there will be a temporary odor from the preservative used upon opening. This is completely normal and will quickly subside once the specimen is aired out in a well-ventilated space.
