Because of this they have an alternate name, the corrugated abalone. These pink abalone measure between 6 inches and 6-3/4 inches in size.
These pink abalone shells are commercial grade and will have natural imperfections from living in the ocean and aging. The larger the shell, the older it is and the more imperfections it will have -- natural cuts on the back, indentations, tiny holes, chips on edges, etc.; The interiors will have shades of silver, blue and green.
