XL Polished Cattle Blowing Horn with strap (Bubalus bubalis) for sale from an Indian Water Buffalo. The blowing horn measures approximately 28 inches, measured around the curve of the horn using a cloth tape measure. Polished buffalo blowing horns make a deep, rich sound when blown.  They are blown like a trumpet or shofar, and come with a leather carry strap.  In the Viking age, a sounding horn, or blowing horn were used to warn of danger or to announce victory.  This blowing horn takes a bit of practice to use, but rewards those who are up to the challenge with the much deeper sound of a war horn. - This horn may have some small, minor unfinished/rough areas. This horn does not stand unsupported. Our buffalo horns may have natural imperfections such as bubbles, indentations, tiny pimples and surface cracks. Review all photos.  These may have a tag on them this is a requirement of the U.S Customs Department. All products imported into the U.S must have a Country of Origin tag.
