Product Details
Case of wholesale abalone shells, commercial grade, sold by the kilo.  These green donkey's ear abalone, Haliotis asinina, measure approximately 2 inch to 3-1/4 inches in size.  These donkey ear abalones are used as craft shells in making shell flowers, as wings in angel ornaments, as borders in shell mirrors, as green shell accents in makings shell wreaths, shell characters, shell dolls, sails on shell boats and in shell candles.  The abalones, seas ears or ormers have low flatish, spiral shells with an iridescent interior and with small holes for exhaling water.  There are about 70 living species, most living on rocks in shallow wter.  The foot is edible and marketed in many countries.

Our shells are commercial grade. All seashells sold in bulk, by the gallon and by the kilo will contain some unusable shells and there will be a little gravel in the bags!
