Wholesale Pearlized Greenlip Abalone Shell (Haliotis laevigata) measuring approximately 6 to 6-7/8 inches.  Naturally the greenlip abalone outer shell has an earthy, smooth, and pale-colored surface.  When polished or "pearlized," the outer layer is removed to reveal a brilliant white surface with flashes of blue, green, and pink.  The lip name comes from the bright green frill of the living animal's muscular foot, which is visible at the edge of the shell.  Polished Greenlip Abalone can be used in making jewelry, inlays in furniture, decorative and ritual use.
