Venus comb murex seashells wholesale, commercial grade with natural imperfections, measuring approximately 4" to 4-3/4" in size have spines resembling a comb. They're either white, gray or a tannish brown. The Venus comb murex spines are quite fragile. These mollosks may produce these long spines to deter predators or to keep from sinking in the sand.  These Venus comb murex are a large predatory sea snail, they have extremely long sphonal canal.  These Venus comb murex have over 100 sharp spines extending from their body.  These Venus comb murex are very fragile but make great conversation pieces and are a must for collectors.
